Esteemed mentorship program accelerates careers of young leaders in renewable energy; applications due October 16.
OneEnergy Renewables, a leading developer of utility-scale clean energy projects across North America, is now accepting applications for its 2017 class of OneEnergy Scholars. In partnership with renowned nonprofit Net Impact, the OneEnergy Scholars program recognizes graduate students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and commitment to building a cleaner energy future.
“The OneEnergy Scholars Program was a tremendous opportunity to build the skills necessary to deploy large scale solar and contribute to OneEnergy’s development strategy in New York,” said Geoff Johnson, 2016 Energy Scholar and 2016 summer Intern.
Through one-on-one mentorships, industry networking, and educational sessions with renewable energy experts, the OneEnergy Scholars program creates a platform for students to embark on successful careers.
“The OneEnergy Scholars program supports students who have both the ability to excel in the clean energy sector and the passion to make a difference,” said Bill Eddie, President of OneEnergy Renewables. “The Scholars program is a tremendous success story, and a rewarding opportunity to advance the careers of future industry leaders.”
Past OneEnergy Scholars are today employed at distinguished institutions including NRG Energy, Southern California Edison, Borrego Solar, Customer First Renewables, Nike, Ecova, PG&E, and more.
