Company expands with VP of Sales and Marketing, Project Director and Project Managers
OneEnergy Renewables, a leading developer of distributed, utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) projects, today announced it has expanded its sales and marketing and project development teams to support the company’s fast-growing project pipeline. New hires will help spur adoption of OneEnergy’s Purpose-Built Solar™ offering, which connects large electricity users with custom-built, off-site solar projects.
Russ Wright has been appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing for OneEnergy Renewables. Drawing from his more than 25 years of experience in renewable energy and financial services, Wright will lead OneEnergy’s sales channels and business development opportunities. Before joining OneEnergy Renewables, Wright served as Director of Sales for Phoenix Solar U.S. Wright also worked as Head of North American Sales for Lanco, the largest independent power producer in India; as Vice President of Business Development at Solar Nation, a commercial solar EPC company; and was National Sales Manager – Channels at SunEdison.
“What drew me to OneEnergy was its unmatched ability to provide the economic and environmental benefits of solar at scale to a wide range of corporate and institutional customers,” said Russ Wright, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at OneEnergy Renewables. “In doing so, we also have the unique opportunity to satisfy growing investor demand for high-quality utility-scale project opportunities.”
OneEnergy’s roster of new hires also includes Jen Bradford, who joins the company as a Project Director to build the company’s utility-scale project pipeline. Bradford brings considerable expertise in managing project development for solar energy companies, with past management roles at E.ON Climate and Renewables and Iberdrola Renewables.
Additionally, Matthew Durette and Ann Siqveland have joined OneEnergy Renewables as Project Managers. Durette offers deep know-how in project engineering, previously serving as a Project Development Engineer with Ameresco; Siqveland will leverage her background in power purchase agreement execution, site selection and project development with companies like EDP Renováveis and EDF Renewable Energy.
“These strategic new hires will play a critical role in expanding OneEnergy’s project portfolio in key markets across the U.S.,” said OneEnergy Renewables CEO Bryce Smith. "Their diverse experience in bringing large-scale solar projects from conception to completion will round out our already stellar team and will drive our company into its next phase of growth.”
